As a mother of three and my oldest being twenty-five years old, my parenting journey has certainly gone through every single stage you can imagine; all the joy and celebration that comes with each little moment and milestone that is celebrated but also the tears worry, and sadness that comes with the heart and soul of a Mama. Over the years, I have taken a strong interest in the mindset and stages that new mothers, mothers of toddlers, mothers of teens, and mothers of all walks of life experience.
This interest began right in my own Studio as I often found myself becoming a support system, a listening ear, and even a friend to so many beautiful women that were just trying to sort it all out... one day at a time. Twenty-five years ago, there really wasn't an outlet or rather, a method that I could learn and use to help myself in times of worry, in the busy days and in the middle of the night with fevers and colds working through my own sleepless nights and feelings of helplessness, and as I moved forward into the years of adolescence and embraced each stage of development with my children through trust, through worry and inch by inch on that good old apron string I continued to grow as a mother myself and developed my own set of principals and methods that got me through those trying times.
Becoming a newborn photographer over ten years ago and compassionately engaging with so many women who just wanted to find 'their way' no matter where they were on their journey became my next task, my next path of service, and one that I knew I could see through in order to help those that just need a little more support in their journey.
Now, as a certified Tapping Practitioner and a Creative Therapy Artist, I have the ability to provide guidance and services to new mamas like you, that just needed a few extra tools in your toolbox when the 2:00-am's call upon you or the overwhelming 70 hour day ... you will now have a way to find yourself again, love yourself a little more and make space for yourself. I help Mama's like you find and recover your sparkle.
It's so important to hold space in your life for you in order to be the best version of what you are on the inside and what you want to be in your life and with your family. Having your mind and body be in the same place at the same time isn't always as easy as it sounds, and it's okay that you take a break and carve out that time for yourself because that is where you will hold your light and your joy.
